Agreeasy provides a platform that allows users to record informal agreements. Users are responsible for the information they choose to include in agreements created through the app.

Agreeasy does not verify, review, or guarantee the accuracy of agreements created by users.

We retain user information and agreement data for as long as necessary to provide the service and operate the platform, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Users may request account deletion in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

The Agreeasy app may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, analytics tools, or authentication services. These providers may process data on our behalf according to their own privacy policies.

Agreeasy offers an optional identity verification feature to help parties establish a greater level of trust before signing agreements. This feature is powered by Stripe Identity, a third-party identity verification service operated by Stripe, Inc.

Verification Provider

Identity verification is performed entirely by Stripe Identity. When you choose to verify your identity, you will be directed to Stripe's secure verification flow. Agreeasy does not receive, store, or process your identity documents directly. Stripe collects, processes, and retains identity data in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Data Processing

During the verification process, Stripe may collect personal information including your name, date of birth, government-issued identity document (such as a passport or driver's licence), and a selfie or biometric image. This data is processed by Stripe on their infrastructure and is subject to their data retention and security practices. Agreeasy only receives a verification status result (e.g. verified, pending, or failed) — not the underlying identity documents or biometric data.

Verification Does Not Guarantee Honesty

Identity verification confirms that a person has presented a government-issued document that matches their stated identity. It does not verify the accuracy, truthfulness, or legality of any information entered into an agreement. Agreeasy does not warrant that a verified user will act honestly, fulfil their obligations, or that the content of any agreement is accurate or enforceable. Users should exercise their own judgement when entering into agreements, regardless of whether the other party has completed identity verification.

Optional Feature

Identity verification is optional and is not required to use the core features of Agreeasy. Agreement creators may choose to require verification as a condition of signing, but this is at the creator's discretion.

Agreeasy is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When updates occur, the revised policy will be published within the application or on our website with the updated effective date.
